This gorgeous Iron Gate Restaurant wedding in Washington D.C. perfectly showcased a romantic and intimate party. With only the couple’s immediate family in attendance, the wedding is more like a small party. Before the ceremony, we headed to the National Gallery of Art, just a 10-minute drive from the venue, to take some beautiful portrait photos. The combination of the gallery’s stunning architecture and the restaurant’s charming garden created an unforgettable experience for this special day.
The wedding couple outfits complemented the artwork, with a few pops of color and clear, clean lines in the background. I loved their low-key vibe throughout the photoshoot, with a focus on the genuine celebration and the company of their friends and family.
It’s located near Dupont Circle, a hidden gem, stands as one of the district’s oldest restaurants and is split between a stunning dining room, and a covered patio surrounded by the trees. It’s a unique and stylish choice for fine private events for both large and small size.
