Inhome Milestone Family Session

In many East Asian cultures, a baby’s first 100 days mark a meaningful milestone—a time to celebrate health, love, and new life. I had the joy of photographing Yi’s family as they honored this special occasion with an intimate in-home session in Washington, DC.

I loved the soft morning light, quiet laughter, and the comforting rhythm of everyday life in their home. What made this Washington DC in-home family session so special was how personal it felt. Surrounded by the familiar comforts of home. The soft nursery light, the baby’s favorite blanket, the quiet pauses between feedings—everything unfolded naturally.

At 100 days, their baby was already showing little expressions—curious glances, sleepy smiles, tiny fists clutching Mom’s shirt. Their family will forever cherished these moments. That’s what family photography is all about.
