Georgetown Engagement Photos – Editorial Style

There are many ways to announce your big news. Evan and Mykaila decided to make it fun!! They reached out to me saying that they would like to use customized newspapers as props to announce their big news, and use these engagement photos in their invitation letter. I loved the idea, and I was thrilled to bring their vision to reality by creating some editorial styled engagement photos at Georgetown, Washington D.C..

To make the announcement truly memorable, we brainstormed various ideas through emails. They then decided to get the props from Etsy. Mykaila has got such a creative eye. She made the newspaper truly fun and authentic.

During the photo session, we laughed and chatted, wandering around the beautiful streets of Georgetown in Washington D.C. The historic charm of the area provided a picturesque backdrop, with its cobblestone streets and brick buildings. Everything was perfect, and the atmosphere was filled with excitement and joy.

Georgetown University is a fantastic location for wedding or engagement photos. There is beautiful Gothic and Georgian architecture like Healy Hall and also lots of green spaces. The university’s buildings have a timeless elegance that adds a European style to the photos. Whether it’s the cherry blossoms in spring, the lush greenery of summer, or the vibrant foliage of fall, this place provides year-round beauty.
