This Riggs hotel wedding took place in the Riggs Suite. The Riggs, as a historic former Riggs National Bank, provided many unique backdrops for this curated celebration.
In a quiet suite, the bride got ready alongside her best friend and her mom — two of her favorite people and her steady calm before the celebration began. There was still plenty of time for elegant solo portraits and thoughtful detail shots, each moment unfolding exactly as they had so carefully envisioned. Later, the couple met at the staircase above the Silver Lyan Bar — the very place where they had their first date. The space felt still and intimate, filled with emotional memory. It wasn’t just a first look; it was a full-circle moment.
From there, we wandered through the hotel for portraits. Riggs offers endless visual stories — the clean symmetry of the grand lobby, the warm European elegance of Café Riggs, and the side entrance where natural light pours in so effortlessly. Each corner carried its own distinct mood, giving their gallery a rich sense of depth and a beautiful variety of looks.
Kendall and Victor’s wedding also integrated the Jewish tradition. They sat under a beautifully designed chuppah, and signed their marriage contract before the ceremony. With green as the main color, the all-white floral palette that softened the grandeur of the space, creating an atmosphere that felt refined and classic.
The result was a wedding that beautifully balanced cultural heritage with modern elegance — intimate in scale, yet rich in presence. I am sure it’s also a day they will want to revisit again and again.
